On this day in Paris, a group of bloodthirsty extremists  slaughtered 130 innocent people and wounded another 368. This savage attack on France was the deadliest since WWII.

This despicable act profoundly shook the nation and the world to it’s core. In the days following the attack, resilient Parisians gathered in front of the Eiffel Tower, which was lit up in the colours of the French national flag to honour the victims.

It was a heartbreaking image, that stirred my emotions and inspired me to depict this moment in time.
