One Artist to Another

As I sit sipping what my tastebuds tell me is the best vodka, I stare at the simple yet beautiful shape of the Double Cross® bottle that holds this elixir.

As an artist, my heart swells with national pride and my mind begins to explore ways of how I could leave my mark on this design, without ruining it.
Then it hits me as I swirl the ice cubes …. ‘you can’t ruin a vodka with ice’ . So I begin thinking of how I could dress and envelop this bottle in icy blue resistors. An idea starts to evolve and I envision Slovak folk patterns in my head. With all this inspiration I begin.
